Sam: What do you think this is, some kind of Mickey Mouse operation?
The villains this week are the Bandit Ratz, a gang in Bay City that is a callback to the fifth grade assignment that started it all. Inspired by the likes of Smallville, Action Comics, the Superman: Earth One cover, and Kevin Smith’s discussion on his Superman script, here is a drawing of a prototype Superman. I drew this as an exercise in digital drawing. It was created entirely in photoshop with a wacom tablet, with no physical paper, pencils, or ink involved.
In today’s Featured Friends, we are discussing Kissing Corpses, an novella by our long time website manager and new co-writer, Amy Leigh Strickland. Kissing Corpses is published by Matter Deep Publishing. It is available for Kindle here.
Bay City’s Most wanted continues with the Syrup Men from Space Sector Seven, villains from the one-page story “A Word from Our Sponsors”
The story is a parody of the classic Hostess comic book ads. You can see the previous editions of Bay City’s Most Wanted here or on the extras page.
